Hard Rock NYC is a cool place for visitors and locals. Yes, there are now plenty of Hard Rock around the US and the world - but this one is iconic and features very cool memorbilia. If you are going to get a hat/tshirt - get the NYC one!

Pros: Great energy and cool place for music lovers. Great place for families and groups to chill and enjoy food in a fun atmosphere.

Cons: Some might think it is "touristy" to go to Hard Rock NYC, but everyone should make this a stop when in NYC for the first (or second time).

Once in your life you must have a meal at Tavern on the Green! Iconic and beautiful place to enjoy a great day or night.

Pros: Beautiful restaurant, great food and wonderful history. Great value and perfect before or after the theatre!

Cons: Can't think one - unless they are booked when you want to go.

It's everything would expect from a great family style Italian restaurant - big portions, loud, and filled with energy! Great place to go with a group or family.

Pros: Good value for group dining or with the family. Great location(s).

Cons: You might need to run for your table - it's always crowded - but worth the quick sprint to your table.

You can choose to stay here, grab lunch or at least visit at Christmas time because this is truly a magical hotel to visit any time - especially the weekend before Thanksgiving through December. The hotel is regal in every way!

Pros: It is iconic with adults and kids (there are kids movies around the holidays that feature this hotel), and a great place to grab lunch, take a stroll around the holidays, have a drink or even stay for a special weekend.

Cons: It is pricey for an overnight stay and there may be better deals during certain times of the year.

Need something cool to do with the kids? You don't have to be a science buff to be an awe of some of the cool exhibits in this incredible museum!

Pros: Great exhibits near Central Park make this a must do for families!

Whether you love jazz or not, this is a must do at least once in your life. Top performer and musicians that have made this place a famous hotspot for great music.

This is a cool neighborhood dive with a fun crowd! No pretension, just great little bar that gives you a high five when you enter. Love a good dive bar - this is it!

Cons: They don't serve food but don't mind if you walk in with a pizza!
